fun and also the week or so before when the Afgan stones

"One day my wife and I
decided to have an ice cream cone in Kihei, Maui, so we
stopped at a Baskin Robbins near Topaz Goldsmiths. It was
one of the best decisions we made. Following our cones we
wandered into Topaz only to leave 4 hours later purchasing
and ordering some of the most beautiful jewelry I have seen.
But that's not the best part. The best part was that we
met the families that own Topaz.... Goldsmiths David and Ted
married to the sales people Nancy and Jen, respectively,
and after we left, we felt that not only had we made new
friends but that we had become part of their family.
We purchased a beautiful ruby
pendent and ordered custom earrings and a custom setting for
some family diamonds. The work is absolutely stunning.....

" It was the
beginning of May the first time we walked into Topaz. We
found some Tahitian pearls that we liked and when we met
Nancy and David and purchased the pearls to be made into
earrings.
Since that day in 1991, and over the years, Nancy and David,
and all the Topaz staff have felt like "ohana". We have made
purchases for friends at home, have had original Topaz
designs (that are still being admired), repairs that we felt
only David could do, and had re-designs of heirloom pieces
in addition to "can't live without" pieces that still are
worn and loved today. Nancy and David have almost taken
jewelry off our bodies for repairs and cleanings we did not
always think were needed.
Over the years, we have had dinner and drinks with them,
shared many laughs and some tears. But most of all, we have
made friends with two people who are very near and dear to
our hearts.
Who would have known 18 years ago, how lucky we would be to
find both fabulous jewelers and fabulous friends."
